During year 12, we were given a brief for an open project, with iterative design at the centre of it. Being heavily involved with skiing at that time, I chose to redesign ski equipment to make it easier to use.
Through many iterations over 3 months, I came up with Clipski, a redesign of ski poles that allow them to easily be carried around attached to the skis, meaning the user had an extra free hand.
The handle of the poles also housed magnets, and with a magnetic glove accessory could be gripped easier for people with low dexterity.
