What was done?

As part of out electronics module, we had to code and tune a self balancing robot. To do this, we had to learn how to analyse and interpret signals in Matlab, and then analyse simple feedback systems to establish stability.

These skills coupled with building on knowledge of Python, I was able to tune a proportional-integral-differential controller which allowed the robot to balance and respond to external forces.
