As part of a module, we learnt about physical computing. Arduino was the foundation for this project and the material for the final product was meant to be mostly cardboard.
Lot's of initial prototyping was carried out to explore the possibilities of components, and due to my interest in automotive and wanting a more intelligent RC car than what is available to buy on the market, I based my project on this.
After weeks of prototyping, my final RC car included LED lights, and a lightshow when a specific NFC key unlocks the car, a ultrasound parking sensor, and the remote control LCD screen was programmed to show the time that the car took between leaving the 'garage' and getting back into it. IĀ also included a buzzer to warn when the car was getting too close to a wall.
